Slim Option

An orthosis that provides support and comfort in an extremely thin profile. Made of advanced thermoplastics, the Slim Option combines firm support with a flexible heel. This combination works extremely well in high heeled shoes and in situations where limited heel slippage is important. The slim option also features a non-slip bottom layer which keeps the orthosis firmly in place. The top of the orthosis is uncovered to allow ease of application of modifications, such as metatarsal and scaphoid pads. An optional top layer may be added to provide a sleek, finished look. The Slim Option may be modified with a heat gun or heated in a convection oven and remolded to provide a more customized orthosis.
